To access te web version on your desktop, you need to take a picture of a QR code through WhatsApp on your phone. As this helps to verify your identity because WhatsApp uses your phone number and SMS verifications rather than usernames/passwords. We have tested and it worked perectly on Android, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry… but unable on iPhone“due to Apple platform limitations” which we do not understand.
The amazing part seems as if it’s using your phone for more than just the initial login; note the orange warning in the screenshot above. If your phone dies, so does your WhatsApp web connection...
